On May 03, 2007, Reeve Lou Madonna and Bobbi Williamson, council's representative on the Museum Board, presented Mrs. Evelyn Hill with the Prince Township Achievement Award and Plaque for over 50 years of volunteer service to her community.
May 1, 2008. Sarah Felix Burns, published author, signing a copy of her debut novel, Jackfish, the Vanishing Village, for Margaret Christenson, a member of the Prince Township Public Library's Book Club. Sarah, who was raised in Gros Cap was a frequent visitor to the library as a child, and we like to think we helped encourage her love of the written word. Her mother, Fran Burns, still volunteers at the library she helped established.
